Blessing Message

“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”)” (Matthew 1:23) 
Dear friend, today God reminds us that His name is Emmanuel which means God is with us. We read in Matthew 1:23, “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”)”. According to this verse God is certainly with you. Today you might be saying, “I have so many problems in my life; problems in job or school or studies or family or children or spouse and you might be so stressed and worried but remember that God is with you to fight for you. We read in Romans 8:31, “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”
 
In the Bible we see how the Lord was with David. The Israelites were facing a huge giant, literally a giant in front of them day by day and they were terrified by His threatening. They thought that they would soon lose to the Philistines. Nobody had the courage to fight against him because they listened to his threatening words and saw his humungous body instead of looking to God. It took a small boy’s giant faith on God to topple Goliath. We read what David says when he saw Goliath, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. (1 Samuel 17:45)” David was the only one who saw God’s incomparable power. He spoke His faith so God fought for Him and gave him victory.

Yes my friend, God is with you to fight all your battles for you. Today you might see your problem and be afraid seeing how big it is. You might be worried that problems are stacking up but look at your problem and say, “My God is bigger than my problem.” Your God is bigger than whatever you might be facing. Keep confessing your faith in God. Keep singing His praises. Then God will remove all the obstacles and give you peace regarding your situations. He will help you overcome them. Yes God is with you as a mighty warrior and He will fight for you. Have this faith today and don’t keep mumbling but just keep praising God for His with you and for you.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus,

Thank You for reminding me that You are with me. Remove all the fears regarding the problems in my life Lord. Remove every obstacle in my life. Give me confidence to face my life. Be with me as a mighty warrior and fight my battles.

“By His wounds, you have been healed.” (I Peter 2:24)
Hi friend! I know that you are waiting for God’s promise for today. It is taken from I Peter 2:24: “by His wounds you have been healed.”  See how this promise is my friend. It doesn’t say you will be healed or you may be healed. It gives us an assurance of healing because of the wounds that Jesus suffered. Through all his nail piercings, the healing power flows into your body from the cross for you to be healed. So all you have to do is claim it and thank The Lord in your trouble, in your pained situation, and in the sickness is in your body. God says, ‘I have healed you already.’ Hallelujah.
 
The Bible says in 2 Kings 20:5, “King Hezekiah, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee.”  This is what Jesus is telling you today my friend. He will heal you. You might be thinking: this is a genetic disease which has come from generation to generation, I have to live with this in my body, or I have to suffer. No, my friend. God will heal you and set you free because He has said “by my wounds I have healed you.”

There is nothing that can escape the healing of God. All you have to do is ask. The doctor might have said it is an incurable disease, which you have to live with. My friend, those deformities, those pains, and those diseases will also be healed by The Lord. Today, any sickness in your body or any pain that has been torturing you again and again, The Lord will heal them. Today, believe and receive the healing. Even if you need healing in other areas of your life – healing in your marriage; you might say we are not flowing together, we don’t have the understanding, we are not able to flow as one, we don’t like the same things, we are not taking the right choices together, or there is pressure from our families to do things that we do not want to. Are you wondering how you are going to survive in this world? God will heal your marriage and heal your heart. Also, my friend, if you say your heart is suffering from bad fights and bad news and that you can’t bear the pain anymore, The Lord is your healer. He is coming with all His comfort to heal the pain in your heart, the pain in your broken relationship, and the pain in your body.

Prayer:
Dear Lord,

You are my healer. You have seen my tears and heard my prayers. Lord heal me, do it for me your child. Let your healing power flow through every part of my body and renew me. Let all the paralytic parts of my body function again. Let me come back to life and every organ function hundred percent. Let every trouble in my home be taken away and incurable relationships be restored and hearts be healed.  May the great peace of God fill my life.

“They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the LORD.” (Jeremiah 1:19) 
My precious friend, God loves you. Whatever you might be going through, He knows it and He has the power to make you overcome it. He says, “They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the LORD (Jeremiah 1:19). The wicked people of this world might fight against you but they will not overcome you. God says, “I am with you and I will rescue you.” Do not be afraid. Jesus says, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33). Jesus has overcome the world and the wickedness of this world so be of good cheer.

God says, “I will be with you My child. I will rescue you.” He says, “Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the LORD (Jeremiah 1:8). The Bible says, “But the LORD is with me like a mighty warrior; so my persecutors will stumble and not prevail. They will fail and be thoroughly disgraced; their dishonor will never be forgotten” (Jeremiah 20:11). In another translation it says that God is with us like a terribly powerful one therefore our persecutors will stumble and not prevail.  The wickedness of the world, the lies of the world, the deception of the world, the jealousy of the world and the injustice of the world might come running to destroy you. Many times it is God who allows them to come closer and closer; case upon case, wicked words upon words, ingratitude to the core doing wicked things against us, but there is a point beyond which they cannot come.

For we read in Proverbs 8:29, “He gave the sea its boundary so the waters would not overstep his command, and when he marked out the foundations of the earth.” At a point they will stumble and fall because the mighty, terrible warrior is around you. God will fight for you. God says, “I am with you and will save you,’ declares the LORD” (Jeremiah 30:11). He will completely destroy those who rise against you. You will never see them again. “Look, there on the mountains, the feet of one who brings good news, who proclaims peace! Celebrate your festivals, Judah, and fulfill your vows. No more will the wicked invade you; they will be completely destroyed” (Nahum 1:15). Evil will not come to you a second time. Be strong.
Prayer:
Father,

Bless me according to Your word this day. Let this day be blessed. Let me experience this blessing in my life. Let the wicked be completely destroyed. Thank You for I will not face any harm a second time. Thank You for it will be just according to Your word.

“Do not be afraid for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name. You are mine.” (Isaiah 43:1)
Dear friend, today the Lord has given you a very beautiful promise word. The Lord Himself says, “Do not be afraid for I have redeemed you. I have called you.” Yes! The Lord says “you are mine.” People may be calling you by names saying ‘you are an outcast, you are a useless person.’ I have heard some people naming their children as corona. What a tragedy it is, but then God calls you by a new name. We see in Genesis 35:10, The Lord said to Jacob, “your name is Jacob, but you will no longer be called Jacob. Your name will be Israel. So He named him Israel. Jacob’s own parents named him as Jacob, meaning deceiver; as he came out of his mother’s womb, he grabbed the feet of his brother Esau and they named him as Jacob. His own brother, Esau, also said, ‘no wonder his name is Jacob; for now he has cheated me twice – first he took my birthright and now he has stolen my blessing. Yes, his own family members named him as deceiver but then The Lord gave a new name saying. ‘you will no longer be called Jacob and you are Israel.’ Israel means my beloved. The Lord says to you also that ‘you are His beloved. You are mine. You have been redeemed. I call you by a new name.’

In this year’s beginning, the Lord gave me a wonderful promise words that is taken from Isaiah 12:6. He called me a citizen of Zion, that is, inhabitant of Zion. Zion means Holy City. He called me as a holy person. This encouraged me a lot and gave me much confidence. The Lord said, ‘you are mine. I am living among you, the great holy God of Israel.’ The lord is living in you. He has redeemed you and is calling you by your name. The Lord will change everything in your life and you will start a new life from now on. Let us believe this and pray to God.

Prayer:
Our loving Heavenly Father,

thank you Lord for redeeming your child. Lord thank you for calling your child by a new name. Master you are saying to your child, ‘you are mine.’ Father, you are such a loving father to your child. Lord even now, bless you child, who has gone through so much in life. May every past hurts, pain, and abusive words be removed. Lord let your child have a new life from now on. Lord let them be called by a new name by yourself, saying ‘you are mine my child, my son, my daughter. Embrace them, kiss them, and bless them. Let your comforting presence surround your child. They may be saying, ‘I have no job, I have no house, I have no family members, or I have no join my life.’ Father, even now, deliver them from all the pains and sickness and give them blessings. Lord let your child have a new life, a new beginning; let them have a new hope, a job, a child, a wonderful partner in life, a prosperous business and a beautiful future. Lord bless their studies and give them your wisdom and strength. Lord may them have new organs. Lord thank you for blessing your people saying ‘you are mine.’ Father bless them and lead them into a new path. Amen.

“Every place where you set your foot will be yours” (Deuteronomy 11:24) 
My precious friend, God has a special blessing for you today. As His word comes to you it will not return void. It will fulfil the purpose for which God sent it to you. Today’s Word from God is from Deuteronomy 11:24, “Every place where you set your foot will be yours.” Many times we wonder why God makes us wander through many places. When Absalom the son of David rose against his father, the king of Israel and he came with a large army to arrest David and take over the throne, David ran with his few trusted men to the wilderness. He had no footwear and he had to walk on the thorns, stones and ground on barefoot crying. Those who are righteous cannot bear troubles. The path of emptiness, ingratitude, needs, shame sickness etc is difficult to walk on but God says every place where you have set your foot will be yours.

 God doesn’t allow us to walk on fertile field. He makes us to walk through wilderness. Only then the wilderness will blossom and bloom through the power of God who is in us. God says, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland” (Isaiah 43:19). You will walk through the wilderness and desert all alone thirsty, hungry and without hope but it is there God will do a new thing. God did that for Abraham. He sent him away from the land to a foreign land and told him, “Go, walk through the length and breadth of the land, for I am giving it to you” (Genesis 13:17). Abraham had to walk through the wilderness but wherever his foot touched God gave that land to him.

Today, the country of Israel is established where that one man walked in obedience to God’s will. When I had an opportunity to meet with the Prime Minister of our nation, he said that he is a friend of the Prime Minister of Israel, now India and Israel are friends. India is a big country and Israel is a small country which you can cover in a day’s travel, but the world is proud that they are the friends of Israel only because Abraham walked with God in that wilderness. When you walk through the wilderness God will honour you. You are honouring God’s Word and doing God’s will therefore God will give you that land. God will make a way in the land. He will bring forth streams to feed you. He will give you praise and honour in the same land you were weeping and you will establish God’s kingdom among the people before whom you wandered.

Prayer:
Father,

As I have walked with tears in my family life, my spiritual life, in this world, give me the land where I have been put to shame. Bless me and honour me in the same place. Provide all my needs. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.

“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.” (2 Corinthians 1:20) 
Dear friends, today’s promise is from 2 Corinthians 1:20, “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.” You might have received so many promises while reading the Bible or you would have received from prophets who have prophesied to you and you might be wondering why those promises are not fulfilled. It might have been too long since the Word has been given to you but surely each and every promise will come to pass. So don’t worry or don’t get discouraged. The Bible says, “The one who calls you is faithful, and he will do it” (1 Thessalonians 5:24). Yes the Lord will do everything He has told you.
 
Many of us know the story of Abraham in the Bible. The Lord made many promises to Abraham. God said that He would make Abraham’s descendants like the dust of the earth and that his offspring shall be a great nation. Yet, Abraham had to wait for long for this promise to come to pass. Though he had no child at that time he believed what God said. He believed that he would get offspring as much as the dust of the earth. In the same way the only thing that you need to do is believe in the Word of the Lord and thank Him and the Lord will fulfil each and every promise He has given you. 

Thank the Lord in advance and believe the promises that God has given you. David says, “I will bow down toward your holy temple and will praise your name for your unfailing love and your faithfulness, for you have so exalted your solemn decree that it surpasses your fame” (Psalm 138:2). Yes God has exalted His Word above everything.  He will do everything only according to His Word. God fulfilled all His promises to all His children. That is why Solomon says, “You have kept your promise to your servant David my father; with your mouth you have promised and with your hand you have fulfilled it-as it is today” (2 Chronicles 6:15). God says, “so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11). So do not worry that it is taking time for God’s Word to fulfil for God will surely bring it to pass.

Thank You for this wonderful promise verse. I believe You are going to fulfil each and every promise You have given me. I have nothing to ask of You and I thank You that You are going to do just as You have said.

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14)
My precious friend, today is a glorious day in Jesus Calls.  This is the day my father, Bro. D. G. S. Dhinakaran, had a vision of Jesus face to face for 3 hrs 58 years before. It was at this time the mission of Jesus Calls began to wipe away the tears of millions of people through the love of Jesus Christ. We remember this day with love and gratitude and thank God for His mercies that He has showered all these 58 years. This is also the day that Bethesda Prayer Centre in Karunya Nagar, Coimbatore was established nearly 28 years ago. We thank God for the mighty miracles God has been doing for everyone who came to this Bethesda Prayer Centre, meditated, and prayed. I thank you for being a partner with this ministry, praying for this ministry, and giving your offerings to Bethesda and Jesus Calls every month. As we celebrate these anniversaries today, may God bless you.

Today’s promise is taken from Mathew chapter 5 verse 14. Jesus says, my child, “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.” You are the light of the world my child. God is dependent on you for His light to come upon this dark world. The Lord says, “A city on a hill cannot be hidden.” God will make you shine and raise you to great heights for the light that is in you to shine on everyone.

In John 8:12 Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” You have given your heart to Jesus. He is in you shining as the light of the world. Any darkness in life will never overcome you because Jesus the light of the world is in you. The Bible says in Ephesians 5:8, “For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.” My friend, you were darkness embodied when you were in the world, when you were in sin; but now as you are the child of Jesus, you are life itself. So the scripture says live as children of light. Only when you have the light – Jesus Christ in you, the world can receive that light. What a great responsibility you have in this world. Let us pray for this grace.

Prayer:
Lord Jesus,

Give me grace to have you, the light of the world, and do your works to bring forth light into the world and bring forth the light, Jesus Christ, into my family. Let your light shine in me Lord.

“As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him. “ (2 Samuel 22:31) 
Dear friends, I greet you in the name of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today’s promise is that the Lord will be a shield to all those who trust in Him (2 Samuel 22:31). Is that true in your life? Are you trusting in the Lord for everything? The psalmist says, “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1). Do you have such a hope? Is the Lord your shield who protects you from all danger? David had that experience and he says in Psalm 18:2, “The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” He had hope in the Lord.
 
Abraham also had the same hope in the Lord. We read in Genesis 15:1, “After this, the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision: “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your very great reward.”” God calls him by his name and says Abraham, “I will be your shield. I will be with you all the time and I will protect you.” What a great blessing it is to have a God watching at us all the time. He says that He is our shield and so we don’t have to be afraid. You might have so many fears, so many problems and you might be crying all alone not knowing what to do but the Lord says that you have to do just one thing which is in Ephesians 6:16, “In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one.”

Whatever problem it is face it with faith. Just like Abraham and David you can say that the Lord is your shield. You must put your trust on Him and fight against your fears and problems boldly. Believe that God will protect you all the time. So you need not be afraid of the problems of the world. Put your hope on the Lord and cling on to Him tightly each moment of everyday. You will be a blessing to everyone and you will experience blessings in your own life. As you take up the shield of faith God will shield you with His presence and no harm will be able to touch you. Everything that troubles you will become miracles where God’s power is manifested. So make the Lord your shield and He will shield you from every danger.

Prayer:
Loving Father,
 
I commit myself into Your hands. Remove all my trials and tribulations. Be my shield. Cover me all the time by Your presence. Let not the evil one touch me. Shield me just like Abraham and David and protect me on all sides. Give me peace and joy.

“May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, LORD, is in you“  (Psalm 25:21) 
Dear friend, be joyful today because God has a great promise for you. The promise is found in Psalm 25:21, “May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope, LORD, is in you”. The key thing God wants you to focus on is integrity and uprightness. Look forward to having integrity in your actions from now on. God values integrity and uprightness. God will help you to be truthful in all that you do. May be you are struggling to walk uprightly in your official work or in your relationships, don’t worry because God Himself will help you to be righteous in all that you do.
 
God is going to give you the strength to uphold your integrity. Before your parents or teachers or your boss in your company or whoever it may be, God will help you to be truthful in all your endeavours. Yes, God will give you the power to do it. Even as heads of the family, our actions reflect in the entire family. Our actions might bring blessings or may not bring the blessings of God. So we have to be very careful in our actions. We have to take right decisions for the entire family. God will help you to do it with integrity my friend.

You might wonder why you should be right when people treat you wrongly. You might want to treat them badly or reciprocate wrong for wrong but if you do that you might lose God’s blessings my friend. You might find many people cheating their way and getting ahead in life, getting promoted and you might think whether you should follow their ways but remember those are the ways of the devil. He only lies and cheats and does wrong things to people. Do not take his ways. Our way should be toward God. We should say like the psalmist, “My hope in You Lord,” (Psalm 25:21). Always remember that your blessings come from above and not from people above you. So always please God by being upright.

Prayer:
Loving Lord Jesus,
 
Give me grace to be truthful amidst the pressures of this world. Let the problems that I face not pressurize me to do anything that is wrong. Help me honour You in all that I do. Help me to be truthful before men whom you have placed above my life. Father, help me to serve You with integrity. Give me strength to be upright and righteous before You.

“Do not say, “I will repay evil”; wait for the LORD, and he will deliver you.” (Proverbs 20:22)
My dear friend, God has a command and a promise in store for you today. He says that if you will be patient with people, He Himself will deliver you. God cannot work when we take things in our own hands. Only when we let go, God can work on behalf of us. God expects us to forgive the people who wrong us. God says, “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you” (Matthew 6:14). We will receive God’s forgiveness only if we forgive others. God is so patient with us. So He wants us to be patient with others. He wants us to treat others the way we would like to be treated. He says, “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets” (Matthew 7:12). If we remember how gracious God has been to us we would automatically be good to others.

Sometimes what others do to us might harm us or hurt us. It might be something that needs to be judged. Even in such cases God says that we have to wait for God’s judgement and not take the matter into our own hands. The Bible teaches us that, “Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing” (1 Peter 3:9). Paul says, “Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse” (Romans 12:14). God places a high standard for us to follow. He wants us to bless those who wrong us unlike the worldly people.

Yet we can always find comfort in God for He is a just God. He is a Judge. He will repay each man according to what He does. He says, “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:10). God will reward us for our patience and repay those who wrong us. For He says that, “Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord” (Romans 12:19). Yes, God will surely take a revenge on people who are continuing in their unjust ways. When we keep quiet God will take action on them. He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun (Psalm 37:6). All we need to do is to bear patiently with one another and show love to the hurting. God will surely touch them through our love and deliver us from the harm they cause us. He knows whether to repay or to forgive them so that they change. So let us leave everything in His hands, be patient and forgive everyone.

Prayer:
Loving Father,

Thank You for this promise to take care of the people who wrong me. Help me to be patient like You and forgiving like You. Let people see Your love through me and transform them through me. I forgive everyone who has hurt me and I give them into Your hands. Lead me into Your peace.
