Blessing Message

“Though the LORD is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly.”  (Psalm 138:6)Dear friend, I greet you in the name of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Today let us on meditate on the promise verse Psalm 138:6, “Though the LORD is exalted, he looks kindly on the lowly.“ God is the example for humbleness. He wants us to have a humble heart. Though He doesn’t have to care about us, He looks at us to show us His kindness. That is why He came into the world, leaving Heaven for our sake. We read in Matthew 8:20, “Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.”” He chose humility. We read in Philippians 2:6-8, “Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death– even death on a cross!”

We see how much Jesus humbled Himself. He did not just come into the world but He came in the lowliest form as a baby and not a king. He was born in a stable and He did not have a place to rest His head. He did not come as one who would have authority on people. He was rather criticized and shunned by people. The most humbling moment was at the cross where He chose to be despised for our sake.  He was obedient even to the point of death. Because He humbled Himself to such an extent God lifted Him up higher than all creation. Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name (Philippians 2:9).My precious child, just as our precious Lord Jesus, in your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus (Philippians 2:5). We too must humble ourselves before the Lord. For we read in Luke 14:11, “For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.” Mary the mother of Jesus said, “I humble myself before the Lord to receive Jesus in my womb.” God honored her because of her humility. Elizabeth greets her as she is the mother of our Lord. She was honored by all the women folk. She was considered as the ‘Blessed’ one. Let us similarly humble ourselves before the Lord and also before men. Then we will be exalted to great heights. Let us pray and ask God to receive this humility in our lives too.Prayer:Loving Father,

I humble myself before You. As Jesus had humility in His life until death, give me too the same quality. Give me humility just like Jesus had. Touch my heart Lord. Give me Your grace. Honor me at the right time by being humble at all times. I give You all the glory.

“You shall increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.” (Psalm 71:21)
My friend, we have a God of all comfort. He will increase your greatness in all sides and comfort you on all sides. Psalm 71:21 says so; “You shall increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.” Also, God says in 1 John 14:27 “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Do not be afraid.” My child, do not allow your heart to be troubled. When your heart gets troubled, the storms and the waves pull you down to make you sink and lose your life.

In Luke chapter 8, Jesus called his disciples to cross over to the other side of a lake. As they sailed, Jesus fell asleep in the boat.  A huge storm came upon them, the waves roared and their boat was about to capsize. The disciples woke up Jesus and asked “Don’t you care that we are going to die? You are just sleeping.” He got up and calmed the storm. He said “Peace. Be still” and the storm became still. Jesus was never troubled. He said to his disciples in John 16:32 “You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me.” Jesus knew that his Heavenly Father loved him even in the midst of all the troubles of this world and trusted the love of his Heavenly Father. He said ‘my Heavenly Father’s love for me is greater than the storm and wind.’ Therefore, He rose up over them, commanded peace, and they obeyed him.

This is exactly what the Lord wants you to have. Trust in the love that Jesus has for you. He sacrificed his life to make you live; will he not let you live in this world? I John 4:18 says, “Fear is torment, but perfect love casts out fear.” Love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind (Matthew 22:37). As Joshua was about to lead the Israelites, the Lord spoke to him and said, “Joshua, never be terrified. Never ever be afraid. Never be discouraged. Be strong and of good courage. The Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Everything will be peace.” In Jeremiah 1:17, God speaks to Jeremiah saying “Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified by them, or I will terrify you before them.” My friend, love is all that you need. Love the Lord who loves you and he will give you the strength to overcome every tribulation. Look at your storms today and say it out loud ‘Jesus loves me. He will not let me down.’ Then, the power of God will come to you and raise you up over your storms. Command all the storms in your life saying ‘keep quiet you storm, my Jesus loves me and is greater than you.’ You will be free to enjoy peace.

Prayer:
Lord,

I ask you to fill me with thy peace. Let me enjoy your love and be more than a conqueror. In Jesus name, I pray victory over all my tribulations and storms. Amen.

“The light of the righteous shines brightly, but the lamp of the wicked is snuffed out”. (Proverbs 13:9)
Dear friend, today the Lord promises to shine upon your life. As in Proverbs 13:9, “The light of the righteous shines brightly.” Light makes the righteous rejoice. As the Bible says in John 1:9, “The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world.” Yes, Jesus is the true light and He gives light to every man who comes into the world. Light gives joy to people. On the other hand, darkness brings fear in the lives of people. Jesus came to give us joy. We read in Psalm 143:3, “The enemy pursues me, he crushes me to the ground; he makes me dwell in the darkness like those long dead.” Satan makes people dwell in darkness. Darkness brings depression into the lives of people. Because of this their lives come to a standstill. Jesus came into the world to give great joy to everyone especially to those who are depressed.

Are you depressed or worried? Jesus came into the world just for you, to turn your darkness into light. We read in Luke 2:10, “But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people.” The angel said to the shepherds that the Jesus is the reason for joy to come into the world. The prophet Isaiah says in Isaiah 9:2,3, “The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death, a light has dawned. You have enlarged the nation and increased its joy. They rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest, as warriors rejoice when dividing the plunder.“ Isaiah describes how great would be the joy that the birth of the Messiah would bring. It would be like the time of harvest and like when people take victory over their enemies, dividing their plunder.
Jesus brought much greater joy into the world. His joy shines like the light in the hearts of people. Jesus came into this world, to enlarge the nation by making people of the entire world as His children and not just the Israelites. He increased our joy by making peace between us and God. He brought an end to the punishment of sin and the power of sin. He made us conquerors through His blood that washes us clean and makes us a new creation. Is there anything that can truly disturb our joy in the Lord? Lord Jesus will fill you with inexpressible joy today. He will make you the delight of the world. He has given us His Holy Spirit so that we will be full of His joy. The kingdom of Heaven is a place of joy. When you pray for God’s kingdom to come upon the earth just as it is in Heaven, God will fill your life also with joy. His will will alone be done in your life and you will be filled with His joy. So rejoice and be glad.

Prayer:
Loving Father,

Let Your light shine upon me. Let Your joy increase in me. Let Your joy destroy all the fear in my heart. Take away every feeling of depression. Destroy all the works of the devil. Remove all my sins. Bring me into Your light. Transform my life. Bless me with Your joy. Make me a giver of joy. Resurrect everything in my life and make you rejoice.

In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

“Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.” (Isaiah 26:4)
My precious friend may God be with you as a mighty warrior today and prefect everything in your life. Today’s promise is taken from Isaiah 26:4, which says “Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.”  He is the Lord who is the Rock eternal. Yes! The Bible says the Lord Jesus Christ is the rock and you are founded and established on that Rock Jesus Christ. He is the rock which brings water and provides everything for you. You shall not be shaken. Yes the psalmist says in Psalm 16:8, “I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.”  The storms may come, the winds may blow, the floods may fill everywhere but since I am established on the rock Jesus Christ, I shall not be shaken. Rejoice over this promise for you.

We read in Exodus 17, as the Israelites travelled from Egypt to Canaan through the wilderness, they lacked water and were very thirsty; their cattle also suffered.   The Lord God performed a miracle for them and provided water. God told Moses to strike a rock with his rod and that water would come from it. When Moses trusted and obeyed God, water came out of the rock and quenched the thirst of the entire people of Israelites and their cattle. There is a rock for you today, which is going to provide all your needs and pour out blessings on you.  Jesus is that rock. Just like how the waters came out of the rock and quenched the thirst of the Israelites in the wilderness, God will send every blessing to you. All that you need to do is to keep your eye on the Lord and place your firm trust on Him – the rock.

The Bible says in Deuteronomy 32:4: “He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.” Wow! He is the rock. His ways are perfect. That is why the psalmist says, “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me.” Yes, my dear one, the lord will perfect everything concerning you. He is the rock. In Psalm 62:8, it says “Trust in Him at all times, you people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.” He is your rock.

Prayer:
Loving Father,

Help me to place my complete trust in you and be firmly established with you as my foundation. Thank you Lord for all the treasures and blessings are hidden in you.  Like the waters from the rock, let all blessings be poured into me from you, my rock eternal.  Lord establish and prosper me.

In Jesus name, bless this day Lord.

“I, even I, am he who comforts you.” (Isaiah 51:12)
My precious friend, today is a day of impossibilities because we have a God who is over all impossibilities, making His will which is the best for us to happen in our lives. All things are possible to him/her who believes in Jesus. He creates everything for us. “I will make all things new” says the Lord.  Today’s promise is from Isaiah 51:12, “I, even I, am he who comforts you.“ God says, “I Myself will come and comfort you my child.” May be you are in a situation where nobody is able to comfort you; nothing of this world is able to comfort you. My dear sister, Angel’s birthday is today. We were in great loss but God gave us Evangeline who was of the same age as my sister and comforted us.

When Jesus was travailing in Gethsemane, he was facing death. He was crying to God, “Father if it is Your will take away this cup from Me. Let it pass away.” An angel of God came to comfort Jesus. But He could not comfort Him. He would not allow Himself to be comforted. Jesus knows that agony. He knows how you are going through a situation where nobody is able to comfort you. That’s why He says, “I Myself will come and comfort you, my child.” Yes, in John 16:20 He says, “Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy.”
God says, “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.” (John 14:18) Your sorrow will turn into joy. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 1:4, “who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.” The Father of compassion and God of all comfort has chosen to comfort you so that you will comfort others. May be that is why He is allowing you to go through a path of no comfort. But the God of all comfort is coming to you to comfort you. We read in Psalm 94:19, “When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.”  That’s why God gives you the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit comes, He fills you with joy in the most tribulation filled circumstance. The Holy Spirit will make you laugh with joy and overcome very sorrow of the world. He will remind you that God reigns forever and will strengthen you with joy. You will be comforted.

Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father,

Fill me with Your Holy Spirit right now. Thank You for Your promise that You Yourself will comfort me. Fill me with joy in my spirit through Your Spirit. Let me rejoice and overcome every sorrow. Thank You for doing it Lord.

“For I have chosen you and have not rejected you.” (Isaiah 41:9)
 My friend, God has a wonderful promise in store for you today. I know you are thirsting for it. God says in Isaiah 41:9: “I have chosen you and have not rejected you.” What more do you want my friend? The Lord has said “I have not rejected you.” You might be going through rejections in your life either through relationships, in school, college, work place or even in ministry. May be you are worried if this is because God rejects you. I want to assure you that nothing is more further from the truth than this, my friend. God will never reject you. The rejections are God’s way of redirecting you toward greater things. God has plans to prosper you and give you hope and a bright future. Sometimes He has to lead you through the narrow way where you can have only His company so that later on you will be the most sought after one.

When the Almighty God, himself, has not rejected you, what or who can reject you in this world? He says: “the door that I shut, no man can open; the door that I have opened, no man can shut.” Because God is for you and not against you the people who reject you have to come to you seeking your company. May be you haven’t faced rejection but you are scared if you will be rejected. Don’t fear rejection any more. I want to encourage you today to rest in God’s promise. So, your boss cannot reject you today. Your work cannot reject you. Your body cannot reject you. Your husband or your wife cannot reject you. Your visa cannot reject you. Yes! God will bring it to life and bring it to pass because He has not rejected you, instead He has loved you.

He says today, ‘I have chosen you for the mission that I have for you.’ So, whatever you are facing in your life right now, He has chosen you to accomplish it. You will accomplish it. Don’t be worried. Yes! Get ready for God’s move in your life. You shall receive this right now! God says, “I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.” (Genesis 28:15) God will make you a blessing in the same place where you have been rejected. God will not leave you until He accomplishes His mission through you. Hold on to this promise and experience God’s company with you in everything you do making you succeed and witness God’s special favor.

Prayer:
Loving Lord,

I thank you for this promise. Thank you Lord for you have not let go of me. Help me to accomplish your mission. Nothing should obstruct me Lord and I should win and conquer.  Bring my body back to life. Bring the things that are obstructed back into motion. Lord, resurrect my spiritual life to do great and mighty works for Your glory.

“The LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.” (Psalm 147:11)
My friend, today’s promise is from Psalm 147:11, “The LORD delights in those who fear him, who put their hope in his unfailing love.” The Lord says in Deuteronomy 5:29, “Oh, that their hearts would be inclined to fear me and keep all my commands always, so that it might go well with them and their children forever!” Yes, the only thing the Lord asks us is to fear Him and keep all His commandments. These last times, it is so difficult to find such people. That is why Paul says in Romans 3:18, “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

What is the fear of God? Proverbs 8:13 says, “To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behaviour and perverse speech.”  The real fear of God is to hate evil. The whole world is under the sway of the wicked one. As in Revelation 12:9, “The great dragon was hurled down–that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.”The satan is the one who deceives the world. On every side sin easily surrounds us. But only by getting rid of all those sins we really fear God.

That’s why Paul says in 1 Corinthians 9:27, “No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.” In Ecclesiastes 12:13, “Fearing God is the duty of mankind.” As Mary said, “I am Your handmade. Let it be done according to Your Word.” This is the way of depending on God’s gracious love. When we fear God we have the dependence on His gracious love. Then the Lord takes delight in us. May the Lord have all His delight in you my dear friend.

Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father,

Help me to fear You Lord and keep all Your commandments. All the sins easily entangle me Lord. But help me to fear You and hate all the bad things. Take away all my addictions. Take away all the sins in my life. Fill me with Your gracious love and with Your Spirit. Take delight in me Lord by filling me with Your anointing. Let me have all the blessings in my life.

In Jesus’ sweet Name I pray, Amen.

“Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.” (Isaiah 60:20)
My precious friend, God is giving you the grace to count the number of your days, to be grateful for each day and for the mercies He has showered upon you. Moses prayed in Psalm 90:12: “Lord, Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom;” Every day, God has been gracious. Even today, He will show His mercy and grace upon you. Great is His faithfulness. You will not be consumed.

Today’s blessing is found in Isaiah 60:20: “Your sun will never set again, and your moon will wane no more; the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of sorrow will end.” What a great joy! If you read Isaiah 30:18 & 19, The Lord says: “Yet The Lord longs to be gracious to you. He rises to show you compassion. People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious He will be when you cry for help. As soon as He hears, He will answer you.”

If you read Proverbs 23:18, the scripture says, “There is surely a future hope for you.” Your hope will not be cut off because God will be your everlasting light amidst the darkness of this world. Jesus said: “I am the light of the world.” In John 16:19 &20, He says, “for some time you did not see me but now, I am coming to you. Now, when you see me, your sorrow will turn into joy.” Because Jesus is full of light and there is no darkness in Him, as you walk after Him, there will be no darkness in you. You will cry no more. Your days of sorrow will end and your sorrow will turn into joy. This is the promise of Jesus for you.

Prayer:
Lord,

I surrender myself. Have mercy Lord. In my weakness, your strength is perfect. Open my eyes. Help me to see you. Lord, come to me.  As I pray, come Lord and turn my sorrows into joy and my darkness into light. Let everything bring joy to me from now on. In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.

Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” (John 11:40.)
Let me share today’s word of blessing. It is from John 11:40. Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” Jesus says this when Martha says, “Lord you are asking the tombstone to be removed; my brother has been dead for 4 days and his body will be stinking; we will get only bad smell.” However, Jesus said “I am telling you to believe and you will see the glory of god.” How does the glory of God come?

What is the glory of God? Is it a glory which is glorious and brings supernatural signs, wonders and miracles? Yes! It is, but how does that glory come? What produces it? In John 7:39, we read the Bible talk about Jesus sending The Holy Spirit. By this, He meant The Spirit those who believed in him were to receive. At that time, The Holy Spirit had not been given since Jesus had not yet been glorified. The Holy Spirit came into the world only when Jesus gave up his life as a sacrifice on the cross. Jesus had to die and all his blood, which is life, had to be shed. Then only his resurrection would come through The Holy Spirit, who would come into the world to fill that gap after the death of Jesus. When Jesus died, The Holy Spirit came into the world. The death of Jesus was the gate for The Holy Spirit to come into the world to take over the moment Jesus closed his eyes. For The Holy Spirit to come, Jesus had to be glorified. Dying on the cross as a sacrifice is glorification. It is then The Holy Spirit comes and resurrects. Romans 8:11 says, “The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead.”

Even today, you and I have to go through the glorification process to experience resurrection power through The Holy Spirit; to resurrect everything that is dead around you and in you. Jesus brings you to the place where you deny yourself, take up the cross, and follow Jesus. You have come to a point where you say, ‘I can’t do anything, I just surrender to you Lord, I will obey you.’ That is when, you are glorified. The Holy Spirit will take over. There will be life in you. You will see the glory of god in your life. As Martha totally surrendered to the will of Jesus, Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead. When Jesus totally surrendered to the will of God saying, “Into thy hands I commend my spirit,” The Holy Spirit came. He is the spirit of Glory and he came and raised Jesus from the dead. You will see the glory of God. You will rise up as you surrender to him amidst of all your tears, sorrow and pains of death in this world to follow him. You will live.

Prayer:
Thank you father, For your promise. Raise me up by glorifying me. I surrender everything in my life to you. Lord let me experience resurrection and life. Bless this day Lord.

“Then Saul said to David, “May you be blessed, David my son; you will do great things and surely triumph.”” (1 Samuel 26:25).
Dear friend, the Lord has a wonderful promise for you today.  It is from 1 Samuel 26:25, “Then Saul said to David, “May you be blessed, David my son; you will do great things and surely triumph.”“ Yes, this is the blessing the Lord has for you. He says, “May you be blessed My child.” You will accomplish great things and you will surely prevail. Saul blessed David with these words but Saul hated David in his heart. Saul went after David to kill him. As he was approaching David, when he saw him face to face, he blessed him instead of killing him. This is the blessing of the children of God. When we love the Lord with all our heart, He will make even our enemies to bless us.
 
The Bible says in Proverbs 16:7, “When the LORD takes pleasure in anyone’s way, he causes their enemies to make peace with them.” When a man’s way pleases the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. Yes, David was a man after God’s own heart. God testified about David saying, “He is a man after my own heart. He does everything I want him to do. He obeys Me and does My will in a perfect way.” This is the testimony concerning David from the Lord. David’s ways were so pleasing unto the Lord. That’s why God made his enemy to bless him.

When our enemies hate us or are so jealous of us and say abusive words against us, we literally hate them isn’t it? But instead of hating them, if we bless them and pray for our enemies, the Lord will bless us even more than our enemies.  We read in the Bible, “The war between the house of Saul and the house of David lasted a long time. David grew stronger and stronger, while the house of Saul grew weaker and weaker.” (2 Samuel 3:1) Yes, David grew stronger and stronger. This is the blessing God has for you too. You will become stronger and stronger. You will certainly prevail. You are a blessed person. Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time (1 Peter 5:6). May the Lord prosper you and bless you at the right time. You will do great things and you will succeed.
Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father,

Bless me today according to Your promise. Let me become stronger and stronger day after day. Let my inner being be strengthened by Your Holy Spirit. Restore everything that I have lost. Bring back everything into my life. Make me do great things for You.
