You Shall Come Forth Like Gold – Bro. Samuel Dhinakaran

“He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I will come forth as gold.” Job 23:10

Dear friend, this is the day that the Lord has given you to rejoice in Him. Today’s promise verse is from Job 23:10, “He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I will come forth as gold.” Accordingly, there is going to be light at the end of the tunnel. As you receive this promise with all of your heart, the Lord will unlock His blessings upon your life. You will be happy! 

In our examination, we also go through various tests such as physics exams, chemistry exams, Tamil exams, Hindi exams and so on. And every time we study for these exams we come to know about new things. We are tested on it and we are awarded based on how we perform. People give us gold medals when we have mastered the subject. Today you might be going through a testing period in your life. The Lord might be testing you to make you understand who you really are and how the Lord is operating in your life. Through tests and trials, you will learn more about who Jesus is. In my personal life also, the Lord has taught me many things through tests and trials. When I got married and we were preparing for our married life, there were so many things to prepare our finances for – for our higher studies, for our vehicle and so on. We went through a fear of whether we would be able to pay for all of these things. Only then we understood so many things like how our parents must have paid for so many things and took care of us and also how the Lord had given all the financial blessings for us to be well. The Lord also taught me to give even in the midst of our needs. He wanted me to trust my money in Him. When I obliged, the Lord made provisions for me to have all these things. 

The Lord thus teaches us through these paths of tests and trials. They are there to make us better. So, declare boldly that ‘after you are tested, you will come forth as pure gold.’ My friend, you will indeed come forth as gold! Do not be discouraged by these tests in life. They are there just a passing phase in your life. Expect great things from the Lord!

PRAYER: Loving Lord, thank You for encouraging me through Your Word. Lord, I pray that You will remove the weight of the agony from my heart completely due to the trials that I am going through in my life. Fill me with Your perfect peace. Strengthen me from within so that I will put my complete trust in You and learn from this experience what You want me to learn. Lord, I pray that You will teach me Your ways and deliver me from all tests and trials. I shall come forth as gold bringing glory to Your name alone. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
