You are Loved – Shilpa Dhinakaran
“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:11)
Hello friend, wishing you a very merry Christmas. Every time I think of the Christmas season, I am reminded of a story that I love very much. This story is about a reindeer. There was a reindeer named Rudolph, who had a red nose. Because of his red nose, everybody made fun of him and did not include him in their games. I am sure you have seen Santa Claus with reindeers on his sledge. When Santa Claus came to the city where Rudolph lived, he called Rudolph saying ‘Rudolph because of your shiny red nose, I want you to be in my sledge.’ Rudolph was very happy and filled with joy.
You may also be like Rudolph. Are people not giving you the love you deserve, are you feeling lonely or have you lost loved ones this year? It is just for you the Bible says in Luke 2:11 “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” Yes, just for your sake, Jesus Christ came into this world, and that is why you can joyfully celebrate Christmas.
This Christmas, thank Jesus that He came into the world for you and do not feel sad or lonely. I know it is very hard, but remember Jesus loves you always. You just have to ask Jesus to live in your heart. When you invite Jesus into your heart and life, He will surround you with His unconditional love and comfort you. He will never let you feel lonely ever! His love is forever and for always. Yes, my friend, you are loved!
Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus,
Thank You for coming into this world for me. I am very grateful because You love me very much. I invite You into my life and to live in my heart. I ask for Your presence to surround me always and for Your love to comfort me at all times.
In Your precious name, I pray,
Amen.
