Way of the righteous – Sis. Stella Dhinakaran
“For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous,” (Psalm 1:6)
My precious friend, I thank God for enabling you to take time to read today’s meditation. God’s word for today is from Psalm 1:6, “For the LORD watches over the way of the righteous.” You might ask me a question as to how to become a righteous person? If you read Romans 3:23-24 it says, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”
Yes, beloved friend, Jesus gave His life on the cross just for you. He became the Way for your righteousness. From head to toe, He suffered extreme agony and shed His blood for you. Through His blood, He washed all your sins, addictions and sinful habits and He makes you a righteous person. When you become a righteous person, do you know what happens? If you read Psalm 118:15, the Bible says, “Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: “The LORD’s right hand has done mighty things!”
Dear friend, have you experienced this salvation in your life? Are you rejoicing because you have become a child of God? Not only this but we read in Psalm 146:8, “the LORD gives sight to the blind, the LORD lifts up those who are bowed down, the LORD loves the righteous.” Also in Psalm 37:17, “but the LORD upholds the righteous.” Also Proverbs 10:30 says, “The righteous will never be uprooted.” Yes, David was a righteous person. According to Psalm 16:8, “I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.” David sought the Lord diligently and because of that the Lord was with him and blessed him abundantly. Right now, the Lord wants to make you a righteous person. He will deliver you right now. All you have to do is just yield to Him.
Prayer:
Loving Father,
Thank You for the provision You have given to me to become Your child. Through Jesus who gave His life on the cross for me and my family, deliver me from all my sins. Fill my heart with the joy of salvation. Let there be peace in my mind and in my home. Guide me through Your Holy Spirit. Bless me and lead me.
In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.
