More than a conqueror – Stella Ramola
“in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” (Romans 8:37)
Dear friend, today let’s meditate on the verse from Romans 8:37, “in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” Yes, because Jesus loves you He is making you more than a conqueror in this world. Today, you might be reading this message with so much of confusion in your life, you might not know where your life is heading, you might be feeling you don’t know what’s going to happen next, what does the future hold for you and you might even feel like you’re going to die because you’ve been suffering for a long time. May be you are facing sicknesses, debt, failure in job or studies or in family but dear friend, God promises to make you more than a conqueror in this world.
Because Jesus loves you according to Philippians 4:13, you will be able to do all things through Christ who strengthens you. In everything you do, God will strengthen you. He will teach you what to do and how to do it. He will tell you what to speak. He will give you healing. He will give you wisdom. He will give you peace because of His love for you.
So my friend, be of good cheer. You will have victory in all that you do and be more than a conqueror. In the Bible we see how David had victory against Goliath. He relied on the name of the Lord and not on spears, swords or shields. Even so, rely on God’s strength and you will be victorious. The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but victory rests with the LORD. (Proverbs 21:31) Yes, victory rests with the Lord and God will lead you in triumphal procession bringing Him glory as in 2 Corinthians 2:14, “But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of him everywhere.”
Prayer:
Loving Father,
You are my hope. Thank You for Your promise to lead me in victory because You love me. Lord, I rely on Your strength and on Your name for victory. Bless everything I do and guide me to be more than a conqueror.
In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.
