Forever with you – Stella Ramola
“He will sustain you until the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (I Corinthians 1:8)
Hello friend, today we are meditating on I Corinthians 1:8. In this verse, The Bible says: “He will sustain you until the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Yes, my friend God will sustain you till the very end. Many times in life, you will lose the people around you. You may lose touch with your friend/family because of a misunderstanding, or because of distance, you have stopped talking to them. It may also be that you can lose your loved one because they have passed away. You may have dreamt of a life with your close friend, but they may not be with you. Sometimes when you face problems in life, you are not able to share it with your close friend. You may feel like you are walking on this earth all alone with no one to love you, to care for you, or to listen to your smallest desires. It is to you my friend that Jesus says “I am always with you.”
In Matthew 28:20, Jesus says: “I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” It is not that God will be with you for just a moment, but it is forever! He is with you from the beginning till the very end of time. Even when you were being formed in the womb of your mother, He was with you. When you live on this earth, He will be with you even till the world’s end. God being with you is not just for the moment, but He was with you, He is with you, and He will be with you.
As today’s promise word goes, Jesus will not only be with you but He will also sustain you, helping you through every moment in your life. Therefore, never wonder if anyone is with you or if someone will help you. My friend, God is with you and He will sustain you. He will take care of your every need. You can talk to Him like a friend. He is always ready to listen to you. Therefore, be of good cheer. You have Jesus by your side as your forever friend.
Prayer:
My loving heavenly Father,
thank you for your wonderful promise today. It is true Lord people have promised to be with me but have broken their promises. You are a God who keeps promises and I know you will be with me always and sustain me till the end. Give me the grace to feel your presence at all times.
In Jesus’ name, I pray.
Amen.
