Dare to believe – Stella Ramola

“If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” (Mark 9:23)
Hello friend, I am very glad to share God’s word with you today. The promise verse we are going to meditate is in Mark 9:23, which says “Jesus said to him ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” Yes my dear friend! According to this promise of God, if you believe in the miracle-working power of Jesus, you will witness him performing marvellous deeds for you.

These words were spoken by Jesus during his ministry on this earth. Let us look at this incident in detail, which is found in the Gospel of Mark chapter 9. It so happened at one time a large crowd came to see Jesus. A person from among them brought to Jesus his son, who had a mute spirit which threw him down, made him foam at the mouth, gnash his teeth and become rigid whenever it attacked. He asked Jesus if he will be able to deliver his son. Immediately, Jesus asked him why he had no faith and told him to bring his son. The father replied that he had taken his son to the disciples of Jesus but they were unable to chase the devil out. This is when Jesus replied saying “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” The father had literally lost all hope but asked Jesus to give him faith to believe even in this impossible situation.  Jesus looked at the faith of the father and healed his son.

Similarly, my friend, there may be an impossible situation you are facing in life, which may be related to your health, family, business, or finances. You may have tried to overcome it many times with different kind of approaches. Finally, it may have left you feeling lost with no solution or help. Jesus asks you to trust him and believe his power, which will bring miracles in your life. Therefore, my friend, never lose hope. Ask God for his grace to strengthen your faith however impossible the situation maybe, because God has promised that his strength will be made perfect in your weakness (II Corinthians 12:9).  When you receive this faith, it opens the door for God to breakdown every stronghold and makes way for your blessings.  It is just like The Bible says “There is nothing impossible with God” (Matthew 19:26). Therefore stop trusting yourself and your strength but put your trust in God and he will crown you with every blessing. Yes my friend, hold on to this promise and claim it in your life.

My loving heavenly Father,

Thank you for the promise you have given me today. I bring every impossible situation in my life to your presence. Strengthen my faith and help me believe only in you for my miracles. Thank you Lord for I know you are going to do it in my life.
