The Key to Miracles – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran

Joshua told the people “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.” (Joshua 3:5)
My dearly beloved, today the Lord is going to make you holy. Have you been lamenting saying that you are unable to lead a holy life. In Joshua 3:5, The Bible says “Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.” When holiness fills your life, when you lead a holy life before the Lord, when you live in holiness among the people, and your heart can confess that you are leading a holy life, you will receive blessings. The Lord descends to do miracles. Holiness is the key that opens doors to miracles.

Today, let us meditate on how to lead a holy life. The Bible says it is the Lord Jesus Christ who makes you holy. In I John 1:7, we read that “the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” Scripture says in Hebrews 12:24, the blood of Jesus “speaks better things” and intercedes for us. When you sin, the devil enters into your life and tries to take control. However, if you even for a second confess your sins to the Lord seeking forgiveness and ask for strength to overcome the sin, immediately the Holy Spirit brings the blood of Jesus Christ into you, which will miraculously purify you. Along with that, the Holy Spirit prays on your behalf so that you do not sin again. Every time you are tempted to sin, the blood of Jesus intercedes with you telling of the preciousness of your relationship with God and to not lose it. The blood of Jesus speaks good things to you and prevents you from sinning.

When you pray asking for God’s help to keep you from committing sins, the Holy Spirit of God rises within you and strengthens you. The Holy Spirit has been given to mankind so as to help us in our weaknesses. II Corinthians 3:17 says “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.” You get delivered from the clutches of bad habits. The Holy Spirit helps you to lead a holy life through the strength of Christ.

The Bible says in Revelation 22:11 he who is holy, let him be holy still” because God’s Day of Judgment is at hand. The Lord Jesus Christ is going to come back, bringing the rewards to give to everyone according to his work. Therefore, be holy. More the holiness, more the miracles you will witness in your life. He who joins with the Lord is one spirit with the Lord. When you are holy, The Lord Jesus increases within you and miracles manifest automatically from his hands. God not only bestows holiness, your life is going to be filled with every blessing. May the Lord give this grace and bless you.
Prayer:
My loving heavenly Father,

I pray for you to make me holy. From today, let me lead a life that is holy and pleasing unto you. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and strengthen me to overcome temptations.
