Truth will set you free – Stella Ramola
‘”Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:32)
Dear friend, it is such a joy to bring God’s word to you today which is from John 8:32, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Who is this truth? We see in John 14:6, “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”” Yes, Jesus is the truth and when we receive Jesus, we receive this freedom. You might be bound by sin or curses or by society’s expectations or by the hurtful words of people or you might be going round and round seeking help from people, but my friend, Jesus will set you free from all of them.
As we see in John 8:36, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” Yes, you should receive this freedom as you believe that Jesus is the truth. In Luke 19:10, the Lord says, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” He came to give you freedom so that you are no longer bound by sin or curses. Receive this freedom right now. Also you need the Holy Spirit to walk in freedom for we read “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” (2 Corinthians 3:17) When you receive the Holy Spirit you receive power to be a mighty witness for God (Acts 1:8).
In the Bible we see how people received freedom by coming to Jesus. Jesus set people free from their sicknesses, sin, demonic oppression and lack. It is said about Jesus, “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners.” (Isaiah 61:1) Because Jesus was anointed with the Spirit of God He set people free. God’s Spirit will come upon you and set you free and through you set others free. Expect your deliverance today.
Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father,
Set me free and help me live a holy life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Let Your Spirit help me to walk in freedom and set others free from their troubles. May I experience Your deliverance today as You have promised.
In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.
