Lean on God’s guidance – Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran

“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:9)Dear friend, the Lord promises to you today that “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:9) Yes, our thoughts and ways are much lower than God’s thoughts and ways. That is why we read in Proverbs 14:12, “There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.” On the other hand, the Lord leads us beautifully through the power of His Holy Spirit. That’s why God says in Proverbs 3:5,6, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

We have to be filled with the Holy Spirit. When we all the time speak the language of God, the Lord will make us think about Him always. The Holy Spirit will lead us like a vehicle. He will direct our path. As in Proverbs 16:9, “In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps,” it is the Lord who directs our steps. Even today, let the Holy Spirit lead you beautifully in your ways. There was a couple who were ninety and eighty years old. One day, the husband passed away. The wife could not bear the loss of her husband. She was crying saying, “What about my future? How am I going to live without my husband?” I comforted saying, “Aunty, please visit our Jesus Calls Prayer Tower. All these days you have been ministering along with your husband. From now on go to the Prayer Tower and be a blessing to people who are just like you. Pray for them aunty. When they say they are blessed through you, you will feel comforted and happy.” I comforted her saying so but within a month, she ended her life by consuming poison. I felt so sad for her.Dear friend, your way might seem so right to you, but in the end it might lead to death. But if you allow the Holy Spirit to work in you, He will lead you according to His will and you will be pleasing to the Lord. As in 1 Corinthians 2:9, “”What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived, the things God has prepared for those who love him,” God has blessings for you that you cannot imagine. They will be beyond your expectation. As Job says in Job 9:10, “He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted,” such will be the blessing of the Lord in your life too my friend, because God’s thoughts toward you are only for your good.Prayer:Loving Heavenly Father,

Give me a good future Lord. Because Your thoughts and ways are higher than mine Father bless me beyond measure and beyond my imagination. Bless me with a beautiful life. Lead me by Your Holy Spirit. Guide me in the path of life.
