Praise God always – Shilpa Dhinakaran
“O Lord, open my lips and my mouth will declare your praise.” (Psalm 51:15)
Today’s promise word is taken from Psalm 51:15, which says, “O Lord, open my lips and my mouth will declare your praise.” Yes, my dear friend. According to this promise, whatever happens in your life, whatever worries you have, and whatever is troubling you, the only thing that you have to do is praise and thank God.
I remember when my daughter, Katelyn, was born and we took her for the first checkup. The doctors checked and said there was something wrong with her legs and they have to keep checking her once again. Though we were frightened and worried, we knew that she is a perfect gift from God and nothing will be able to touch or harm her. In spite of our worries, we kept praising God and thanking Him for Katelyn . Do you know what happened? The next time we went for her checkup, the doctor said that she is absolutely fine, nothing is wrong, and we need not be worried about anything.
So, my dear friend, the same thing will happen to you. Whatever problems there may be, just keep thanking and praising God. The Lord will surely do miracles in your life. We read about the walls of Jericho in the Bible. The Lord commanded to just march around the wall and shout praises. When the Israelites did so, the walls of Jericho came falling down. In the same way, The Lord will do this in your life today. The Bible says in I Thessalonians 5:18: “give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” So continue to thank The Lord and praise Him despite all your circumstances.
Prayer:
Lord,
I thank you for this promise. Lord, no matter of the situation and circumstances I am facing, help me to always thank and praise you. Lord Jesus because you are always in control of my life, help me to always praise you. Let there be only praise and thanksgiving from my lips. Let me never be worried in all the troubles and never be filled with anxiety. Lord Jesus let me always praise and thank you. Once again, Lord I thank you for this promise words and believe it.
In Jesus name, I pray. Amen.
