God’s strength is enough! – Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran
“The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights” (Habakkuk 3:19).
Strength comes from God. He is the source of all strength. Even though people do many tasks to build up their strength ultimately strength is from God. Our God is a God causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous (Matthew 5:45). People who do not know God also enjoy the strength that He alone gives. When God’s strength comes into a person, they accomplish great things for God who makes their feet like that of a deer and enables them to rise up high in life. In the Bible, we read of Samson who was blessed with extraordinary strength. Nobody could match his strength. Not even the lion which is the strongest animal. It was because of the special anointing that was on him. In the New Testament we read how God poured the same anointing on all men without favouritism. The Spirit of God enabled men to do greater feats like raise the dead back to life, heal the sick, make the lame walk and even the sting of a viper couldn’t cause death. That is how God’s strength transforms us to do great things for His glory and it is enough for us.
One day I received an email from Dr.Joanne Shalini, Malaysia sharing her testimony on how God’s word brought miracles in her life. This is what she says: “My Father had neurological problem in his leg which caused much pain when he walked. The doctors found that the nerve in his leg was swollen and said that if left untreated he may end up with inability to walk. At this juncture, in December I sent an e-mail to sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran on behalf of my father and she sent me an encouraging reply from the word of God, quoting scriptures. Within days of receiving her reply, the pain in my father’s leg began to slowly subside. Now he is healed completely! My father is happy and I am happy for him!” See, how God did a miracle and brought strength to that dear brother. God will do that for you too. May be you have faced a sickness or injury that has not healed. Today, God will heal it for you.
“But the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is their strength in time of trouble” (Psalm 37:39). God alone can give us strength and save us. Man’s help cannot be trusted. That is why the Psalmist says, “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” (Psalm 27:1). You need to fear nothing when God is with you and God promises you that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). So don’t panic looking at your problems. God can blow them away with a single breath. You will run very fast and complete great tasks for Him.
Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father,
Let Your strength that can make me ride on the heights lift me up in life. Let Your strength be made perfect in my weaknesses. Help me to achieve great things for Your glory. Blow away all the problems in my life and strengthen my heart and soul. With You by my side I shall be more than a conqueror so be with me and give me strength.
In Jesus Name I pray,
Amen!
