Your life will become beautiful – Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran

“As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:9)
Dearly beloved! Why, what and how might be the questions that rise in your hearts many times. Are these unanswerable questions discouraging you? Don’t lose your confidence and courage questioning yourself ‘how did this happen?’. Don’t forget that the Lord who knew you before He created you is right beside you. Even though you do not understand now why certain things are happening in your life, you will understand the reason sometime in the future. God has big plans in allowing them in your life. God says “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts” in (Isaiah 55:9).

Once, a lady went to see how the world famous Persian blankets were made. She happened to see an old man swiftly knitting one of those blankets. She was disappointed finding out how the blankets were made. It was not as wonderful as she expected rather it was done in a very normal yet confusing way. Seeing the change in the appearance of her face, the old man said, “Dear lady, this is the back side of the blanket, the work on the front side will be beautiful”; saying so he turned the blanket and showed her the front view. Seeing the beautiful design the lady became very happy. After God completes His work in you, your life will surely look beautiful without a doubt.

Beloved, today, you might be in a very pathetic situation. Do not be scared looking at your situation. In such circumstances there is just one thing that you need to do. Call unto the Lord who says “I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them” (Isaiah 42:16). Invite the Lord who said “Do not rage, be calm” and silenced the waves in to your life’s boat to be the captain of your life. He looks at you and says “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10). What a loving God we have!

Prayer:
Dear God,

I believe that everything You have allowed into my life is for my good. I surrender my life to You. The Lord who calmed the raging waves and sea with Your command, calm down all the troubles in my life too by saying “Be calm and rage no more”. Strengthen me and help me. Fulfil the desires of my heart. Strengthen me to share Your Word with those who do not know You. Remove all the confusions in my heart and fill me with Your peace.
