Still Suffering…How Long, God?
“Everything is possible for one who believes.” According to this, in your life too, everything is possible. Today, you may feel nothing is possible. You may say, “I have no way to go forward. All doors are closed. I am facing losses after losses. I am full of pain. I don’t know how long I can go on in this job. I don’t know how long I can go on with this family life.” But do not be afraid. Just believe in Jesus. What is impossible with man is possible with God. He will make everything possible for you, just as the Bible says in Mark 9:23. This is God’s promise for you today.
Let me share with you the testimony of Julie. From birth, she suffered from asthma. The condition only worsened as she grew older. Her parents took her to many hospitals. Many medications were given, but there was no cure. It even affected her studies. At the age of 15, in 2007, the Itanagar Prayer Festival of Jesus Calls was held, where thousands were present. God enabled me to pray for the sick, and one person came forward and testified, “I had asthma. Now I am healed. I feel so free.” As Julie listened to this testimony, faith built up in her heart, and she joined in the prayer with me. The Holy Spirit came upon her. She felt the Lord touching her. Her respiratory problem disappeared. She was breathing freely. Her health improved, and doctors stopped the medications. By God’s grace, she graduated with an excellent rank. And even after 18 years, she testifies, “I am completely healed.” Today, she is married and has three beautiful children. God turned her impossibility into a possibility by giving her perfect health. He will do it for you, too.
PRAYER:
Dear Lord, I come before You in my weakness, overwhelmed by my struggles and unsure of the path ahead. But today, Lord, I choose to believe in You. I believe that with You, all things are possible. Lord Jesus, You said, “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Help me to trust in that promise. Where there is loss, bring restoration. Where there is pain, bring peace. Where all seems impossible, show me Your miracle-working power. I surrender my fears, my job, my family, my future, my everything into Your hands. Let Your grace lift me up and lead me forward. Thank You, Lord, that what is impossible with man is possible with You. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
