God Will Go Before You – Sis. Stella Dhinakaran
Precious child of God, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Today’s promise is taken from Isaiah 52:12, “The LORD will go before you.” What a great blessing it is! The Lord who created the entire universe is with you and shall go before you. He will be your rear guard.
What a joy, my friend! The Lord will be surrounding you both in the front and in the back. Are you relying more on human beings? Do you say that your friend will take care of everything, or your parents or your spouse will? Child of God, please stop relying on people. Instead, keep confessing that the Lord is always with you and that He shall go before you and will be your rear guard. Also, in order for you to enjoy the presence of God at all times, you should praise Him at all times! The Psalmist says in Psalm 34:1, “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” This should be your daily experience! In other words, whatever may happen in your life, just say, “Thank you, Jesus!” The Lord will then be pleased with you.
You should also be open before God and pour your heart out to Him. I Peter 5:7 says, “Cast all your care upon Jesus for He cares for you.” So, don’t be stuck thinking about the loved ones you have lost in your life. Instead, focus more on the Lord God Almighty and look to Him for everything. He will give you, His peace. Only when your mind stays on the Lord will you have the perfect peace of God. This is well said in Isaiah 26:3, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” Dear child of God, will you commit, today, to having your mind set on God and trust Him always? The Lord’sdivine peace and His presence will engulf you. He shall be your rear guard!
PRAYER:
Precious Heavenly Father, thank You for Your wonderful promise. Thank You for surrounding me with Your lovely presence and protecting me from behind. Lord, even now, I pray that You will make me worthy of Your presence. Cleanse me with Your precious blood and make me a new creation in You. Let not my heart trust in people but in You alone. Lord, put on me, the garment of praise so that Your praise shall continually be in my mouth. Let my life overflow with Your divine peace and presence. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
