Recognized and Rewarded – Stella Ramola
“Your work will be rewarded,” declares the Lord.” (Jeremiah 31:16)
Hello dear friend, it is such a joy to share God’s word with you. Today, we are meditating on the verse which is from Jeremiah 31:16. Let us see what it says. “Your work will be rewarded,” declares the Lord.” Yes my friend, for all your hard work, God is going to reward you. You may be saying that you have been putting in so much of time and effort into your projects at work, but someone comes in at the last moment and takes credit for it and gets a good name from your boss; your work as no meaning; you maybe in tears saying this. Alternatively, you may say that you have been doing all the hard work for the assignments but your partner speaks very well and takes all the credit; in turn, everyone thinks the other person did all the work. The situation maybe a similar at home where you do all the work but your parents always give love only to your siblings.
My dear friend, today God has seen all the work that you have put in, the time and effort, and everything you do to glorify God. The Bible says in 2 Chronicles 15:7, “Be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.” Just as this verse says, my dear friend be strong, don’t give up. Whatever you do, let all the work that you do glorify God. Let even the smallest task you do, word you speak, your thoughts, ideas, your creativity, and everything glorify God. Whatever you do in secret for God, He will reward you publicly. So be of good cheer! God will give you a great name before your friends, family, and most importantly your adversaries. Never give up. God will reward all the work that you do for Him.
Prayer:
My loving Heavenly Father,
Thank You for today’s promise. I submit all my work and project into Your hands. Lord, I know You have seen all my efforts and will reward me accordingly. Let everything I do glorify Your name.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
