“Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” (Matthew 5:8)
Dear friend, today God wants to talk to you from Matthew 5:8, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.” Yes, dear friend as you are pure in your heart God will enable you to see Him. He wants you to have a pure heart. How do we receive this pure heart? The Bible says in Psalm 119:9, “How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your word.” Yes, by walking according to God’s word, the Bible, we will be able to have this pure heart.

To be pure is to not hurt anyone with our words wanting to bring them down, or helping people without expecting to receive some appreciation or help in return. Yes, a pure heart is not filled with pride or jealousy, lust or any sin, it is holy. It is filled with God’s love. Yes, my friend that is what is said in the Bible and that is the character of God. So from today, try to be like Him.
Try to be pure in your heart, filled with His love, in your actions, in your words and throughout your life. So ask God for this pure heart and start living like Him today and you will see God. Pray like David saying as he says to the Lord, “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” When you pray like David, God Himself will control your heart, its desires and intentions and make you pure in and out.
Prayer:
Loving Father,

I want to have a pure heart Lord. Cleanse me from all my sins and make me new. Create in me a pure heart and let my desires, intentions and my actions also be pure in Your sight. Make me new, clean and spotless in Your eyes. Fill me with Your love today. Let all my actions and my words be driven with love. Help me to be like You each day. Give me Your strength and this quality of a pure heart. Help me to carry You each day.
