God’s Dwelling Place – Sis. Stella Dhinakaran
“The LORD is exalted, for he dwells on high; He will fill Zion with his justice and righteousness.” (Isaiah 33:5)
My precious friend, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Today, we are going to meditate on Isaiah 33:5, which is “The LORD is exalted, for he dwells on high; He will fill Zion with his justice and righteousness.” My friend, the Lord wants to dwell with you – in your heart and in your home.
Yes, God wants to dwell with you all the time. For that, you have to live a righteous life. In Leviticus 26:11 and Psalm 132:13-14, the Lord says, “I will come and dwell with you.” Also, you can read in John 14:23: Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.” The Lord Jesus says John 8:29 “The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone, for I always do what pleases him.”
Therefore my precious friend, you should do the same thing. You should seek the Lord with all of your heart, read the Word of God, and live a righteous life. Then the Lord will come and dwell with you in your heart and home, and your home will be a sweet home. There is a name for our Lord God Almighty. He is called the ‘God of peace.’ These days, so many homes have lost their peace. They fight every day. If you want to have this divine peace, ask the Lord to fill you with His presence. God will give you a righteous life.
Prayer:
My loving Heavenly Father,
Thank you for today’s promise. Lord, I humbly ask you to make me a righteous person. Give me the grace to please you at all times in everything. Father come with all your majesty and stay with me in my heart. Dwell in my home and make it heavenly.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
