Walk in Integrity – Sis. Stella Dhinakaran
“The days of the blameless are known to the LORD and their inheritance will endure forever.” (Psalm 37:18)
My dearly beloved, greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! It gives me much happiness to share God’s promise with you today. It is taken from Psalm 37:18, which says: “The days of the blameless are known to the LORD and their inheritance will endure forever.” The Bible also says in Proverbs 11:20 “The Lord delights in those whose ways are blameless.” Yet again in Proverbs 20:7, we read “The righteous man walks in his integrity; His children are blessed after him.”
In The Bible, we see many righteous people. In Genesis 6:9, we read that “Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.” In Job 1:1, the Lord Himself testified about Job saying, “Job was blameless and upright; he feared God and shunned evil.” My beloved child, you should also ask God to give you this nature – to walk a blameless life and have integrity. If you ask God, He will give it to you. Ask and it shall be given unto you is the promise of God.
The second half of the promise word says “their inheritance will endure forever.” Even in Psalm 16:5, we read the same thing. Psalm 127:3 says “Children are a heritage from the LORD.” Job was a righteous person. In a calamity, he lost all his ten children. However, Job continued to lead a righteous and blameless life and the Lord gave all the ten children back to him. We can read about it in Job 42:13-15. Yes, my beloved child, lead a life of integrity and inherit God’s blessing. Now, say this prayer unto the Lord to give you such a blameless and glorious life.
Prayer:
My loving heavenly Father,
I thank you for the promise word. Lord, give me also such a blameless life. Today, change my heart, thinking, and life to be a blameless person. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and help me to walk in integrity. Let my life bring glory to your name.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
