Blessings of the righteous – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran
“he blesses the home of the righteous.” (Proverbs 3:33)
Dear friend, today’s promise is from Proverbs 3:33, “he blesses the home of the righteous.” Today God is giving you the grace to be righteous. As you have been righteous and sought after God’s righteousness, God will add every blessing in your home. 2 Samuel 7:29 David prays, “Now be pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, Sovereign LORD, have spoken, and with your blessing the house of your servant will be blessed forever.”
Yes, God blesses the house of the righteous. Who is a righteous person? Psalm 112:1 says, “Blessed are those who fear the LORD, who find great delight in his commands.” A person whose word, thought, action and deed is pleasing to the Lord is a righteous person. God blesses the home of such a person. Psalm 112:3,4 says, “Wealth and riches are in their houses, and their righteousness endures forever. Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.”
Yes, the world is full of darkness but Jesus is the light of the world. He will dwell with those who are righteous and His light will shine amidst the darkness of the world in their homes. May God give you this blessing and may wealth and riches adorn your home because Jesus became so poor so that you may have riches. The next blessing is that the children in the house of the righteous shall be mighty in the land. God will give you that blessing. According to Psalm 147:14, He will grant peace to the borders of the righteous and satisfy them with the finest wheat. Psalm 122:7 says there will be peace within your walls and security within your citadels. You will be securely provided in your family. According to Exodus 23:25, God will bless your food and water and keep sickness away from you.
Prayer:
Loving Father,
May these blessings come upon me. Let me and my family be righteous in Your eyes. Honour me. Let me have all the righteousness, peace, light in the darkness, all wealth and riches. Let my children be mighty in the land and be secure.
