Peace in inmost being – Shilpa Dhinakaran

“Peace be with you!” (John 20:26)
Dear friend, today’s promise of God is from John 20:26, “Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” The Lord tells you today, “Peace be with you.” I have experienced this peace especially during my pregnancy. I was pregnant during the Covid situation. There was a lockdown during that time. There were lot of confusions at home, nobody was able to come and help us in cooking and we had to do things by ourselves, but even during that time the Lord filled each and every one of us with peace.

It was so dangerous even to go outside and do a checkup at the hospital. But even then the Lord filled me with His peace whenever I went to the hospital and He gave me wonderful results. All the scans were perfectly normal. Even during the date of my delivery, there was lot peace within me. The Bible says in Philippians 4:7, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” God filled me the same kind of peace.
In the same way, God is going to fill you too with His peace. Not the peace that the world gives but you will have His peace. In the Bible we see people who operated in peace. For example, when Daniel heard the decree issued by the king, he still went to his room, opened his windows and prayed to the Lord as before. Because there was peace in his heart, he could face the fierce trial and still be victorious. You too can be victorious if you look to God for His peace and not to people or circumstances. With God’s peace you will see wondrous results and overcome every hurdle. Give your cares to God and exchange it with His peace. Claim this peace today. God bless you.

Loving Lord Jesus,

Thank You for speaking peace into my situation. Fill me with Your peace that transcends all understanding. Let people come to know You through the peace with which I live.
