Making Right Choices – Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran

“Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” (Isaiah 30:21)
Dear friend, may the Lord enable you to listen to His still sweet voice. The Lord says in Isaiah 30:21, “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” After Moses died, God gave Joshua the responsibility of leading the Israelites into the Promised Land. In Joshua 1:7, the Lord spoke to Joshua saying, “Do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.”

This is the heart of God for you. God wants you to choose the right path. My friend, you have to say no to all the temptations and get ready to follow the Lord. You should always listen to God’s voice because He is the Good shepherd. Lord Jesus says in John 10:11, “I am the good shepherd.” Jesus also says “I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture” (John 10:9).

Therefore, my beloved friend, surrender your life to God. Spend your time meditating the word of God, which will enable you to walk in the right path. Then, God will bless you in every way and help you to walk in the right way. Follow the Lord Jesus because He is the good shepherd, the gate, the way, the truth and the life. Invite this loving God to speak to you every day. He will lead you in the right path and make you a success wherever you go.

Prayer:
My loving heavenly Father,

I thank you for today’s promise word. Help me to listen to your sweet voice. Help me Father to spend as much time as I can in meditating your word and listening to your voice. Lead me in the right path so that I will fulfill your will for my life and bring glory to your name.
