Sufficient strength – Stella Ramola
The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights. (Habakkuk 3:19)Dear friend, it is such a joy to bring God’s word to you even today which is in Habakkuk 3:19, “The Sovereign LORD is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.” Yes, the Lord is our strength. May be you are saying, “I am a weak person. I have no confidence to do what I want to do or with my full ability. I don’t have any strength to talk to this person or to complete this project.” Or you may be having physical weaknesses and you may be saying that you are not able to take care of your family members, but my friend, as it is said in Psalm 18:32, “It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.”
God is the one who can give you strength. When God gives you strength it will be sufficient for you to do all that you want. The world might give you small satisfactions and peace that passes away but when God gives you strength and peace it will be beyond your understanding and more than you ask. As we read in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all this through him who gives me strength,” God will give you strength to do everything. It is God who refuels us to do all that we want. So let us ask Him for His strength to take care of our family, our business, our academics, to maintain our relationships and to take care of ourselves. In the Bible, we see a man who was filled with great strength. It was Samson. He was filled with strength because God’s anointing was on him. God also had a purpose in giving him that strength. God accomplished His purpose through him. God has a purpose for you too. He will give you strength to fulfill it. All you need is His anointing. When God’s Spirit comes on you, you will receive power to be a witness for the Lord through your accomplishments. People will identify that it is by God’s strength that you are doing mighty things. Pray for God’s Spirit to take charge of you.Prayer:Loving Lord,
Remove my weaknesses. Give me strength and power that I need to accomplish Your purpose. Strengthen me physically. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Let Your Spirit take charge of me and let Your strength be sufficient for me.
In Jesus’ precious name, I pray. Amen.
