 “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given.” (Isaiah 9:6)My dear friend, it is such a great joy to greet you even in the beginning of this month. This day’s promise is taken from Isaiah 9:6, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given.” The Bible says, ‘Sons are given as a reward to those who fear the Lord and children are a heritage from the Lord. The children of one’s youth shall be like arrows in the hands of a mighty warrior.’ (Psalm 127:3). God will bless you with a godly nature. That is a blessing God is giving you.

In this verse it is written, ‘for unto us a child is born.’ It could also be read as ‘for us a child is given.’ The scripture says unless you repent and become like little children, you will not enter into the kingdom of God (Matthew 18:3). Jesus says these words. So, for us to have the son to be born for us and to us, we need to become like little children. Yes, the scripture says that your heart is the temple of the Holy Spirit, your body is the temple of God (I Corinthians 6:19). The Bible says in John 1:12 “Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”Today, how will you become the child of God? It is when Jesus is born in your heart. The scripture says the child Jesus Christ is given as a child to you and He is born as a child in your heart. You become a little child repenting of your sins to receive Him in your heart. Therefore, you as a little child and Jesus as an unblemished, holy child come together and that union is holy. He that is joined with the Lord is one spirit with the Lord (I Corinthians 6:17). So, today as you have humbled yourself before the Lord as a little child, He is also coming as a little child and you and He shall be one. Whatever you ask the Lord, you will have it. You have become one with Jesus. As you have received Him into your heart, Jesus Christ has been given for you as a son. He is your reward and you shall have a heritage in Jesus Christ. You shall never have anything of the world touch you anymore.Prayer:Father,

I am very grateful to you for choosing me. I surrender myself to you Lord and I pray even now, you will transform me into your image. Bless me according to the promise for this day and be born in my heart. In Jesus name, I pray.
