You are BLESSED! – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran

Blessed is the people of whom this is true; blessed is the people whose God is the LORD. (Psalm 144:15)
My precious friend, God has a promise for you. It is from Psalm 144:15, “Blessed is the people of whom this is true; blessed is the people whose God is the LORD.” The verse tells us that blessed are the people whose God is the Lord. Another translation says, “Blessed are the people who drawn the Lord to be their God.” Every blessing of God is contained in Jesus. Yes, every blessing. So when we draw Him, grab Him into our lives, every blessing flows into our lives. Seek Him first and draw Him to yourself. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Then all the things you need in this world and for the other world also will be added unto you.

Psalm 33:12 says, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people he chose for his inheritance.” The verse adds one more qualification for us to be blessed. First thing is that blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Secondly, blessed are the people whom God chose for His inheritance. Many are called but only few people are chosen by God to be His inheritance, to be His children, to be worthy have His will and to have His name as their last name so that they can inherit everything that He has.  So you are that BLESSED person. Because you have drawn near to God, He has drawn near to you to give you His will, to write His will over your life hundred percent.

Everything in Jesus, every blessing in Jesus belongs to you. How blessed you are to have Jesus as your God! We read in Deuteronomy 33:29, “Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights.”  We read here about the three blessings He gives to those He has chosen as His inheritance. Firstly, He is your shield which brings you protection. Secondly, He is your glory and reward which brings you honor. Thirdly, He makes your enemies cover before you which brings you victory. These are the blessings you own my friend. Praise God and rejoice for you are the child of Jesus.

Prayer:
Loving Father,

I rejoice for You have drawn me near You and I have drawn You to me. Thank You for making me Your inheritance. Thank You for the blessing of protection. Thank You for the blessing of prosperity and defense against our enemies. Help me to enjoy every blessing that is in You Lord Jesus.
