God will reveal His ways – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you” (Psalm 32:8).
My precious friend, may God’s grace abound in your life today. Today is the international day of the deaf. I remember all my brothers and sisters, darling children and everyone who is deaf. I know God has given them special abilities. In 1964, James Cartyle Marsters who was deaf invented the typewriter device which could be connected to all the telephone lines. Helen Adams Keller who was deaf brought out the sign language for the deaf. There are many more such talented people. The Lord says, “In your weakness My strength will be perfected” (2 Corinthians 12:9). No one is imperfect in the eyes of God. Let us remember people who are deaf and thank God for their life.
God promises to you today, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;I will counsel you with my loving eye on you” (Psalm 32:8). You might be whole yet spiritually deaf and blind so, God says, “You will have light in your life only through Me, only when You walk in My way.” He says, “I will instruct you. I will keep my eye on you.” Why does God keep His eye upon you? It is to answer your prayers that He sets His eyes on you. We read, “Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place” (2 Chronicles 7:!5). His eyes are always open to look at you and hear every one of your prayers and answer it.
He will instruct you to walk in the way which He has planned for you. We read in Psalm 86:11, “Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.” You must walk in the way of truth that God shows to be set free from the wickedness of the world. So, like the psalmist you should ask God to teach you His way. Also in Psalm 71:17 the psalmist says, “Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvellous deeds.” God will teach you and take you through ways where you will find God’s wonders and miracles. In Psalm 73:24 we read, “You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory.”Yes, accordingly, God will instruct you, answer you, do miracles for you and lead you to heaven.
Prayer:
Father,
I thank You for the extra grace You have given to those who are deaf. Bless them. Strengthen them. Give them special grace to accomplish much in this life. Help me to care for them and honour You for their lives. Open my heart to Your instructions. Keep Your eyes on me. Help me to fear You. Let me see Your wonders in the way You lead me in.
In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
