Our God our guide – Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran

“For this God is our God forever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.”(Psalm 48:14)
Dear friends, today the Lord has a beautiful promise for you. David says in Psalm 48:14, “For this God is our God forever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.” More than how we cherish calling God as our God, God is proud to call Himself as our God. He says to us, “For behold, I am on your side; I will turn toward you, and you will be tilled and sown” (Ezekiel 36:9). Yes, everyday God will give you His Word that you need to live in this wicked world and yet prosper and have abundant life. We read that, “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). If God is for us who can be against us? (Romans 8:31).

God is on your side my friend. The Lord says, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10). What a wonderful God we have with us! We need not be afraid at all. We need not entertain any fear in our life. God says, “I will do everything for you. I will help you and I will strengthen you. I will hold you in My arms.” He says in Isaiah 49:16, “See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.” You are always loved by God. He says, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness” (Jeremiah 31:3).

Who can pluck you away from His hand? Nobody can do it. So, you will never be taken away from the hand of God. He will protect you and promise you of His goodness each day. He will make you grow in Him and lift you up higher and higher in life. Why should you be dismayed? Why should you be distressed? The Lord is with you. He Himself will guide you step by step now and always even till the end. His love for you will not change and He will continue to speak to you through His Word and strengthen you. You will prosper and rise up high in life.

Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father,

What a joy it is to know that You are on my side Lord! You are carrying me in Your nail pierced hand so I thank You Lord. Thank You that You are protecting me. Thank You that You will prosper me. Guide me with Your Word each day. Out of Your fullness let me receive one blessing after another. Let me have no more lack in my life. Bless my future. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
