Miracles will happen! – Dr. Paul Dhinakaran

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” (Mark 9:23)
We read in the Bible how Abraham believed in the Lord and God blessed him with a child when he was 100 years old. God wanted Abraham to put his trust on God’s omnipotence and ability to bless no matter what looks impossible. God wants you too to trust in Him with all your heart, mind and soul. “Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness” (Genesis15:6). God honoured Abraham’s trust by counting his faith as an act of righteousness. Yes, even today, our righteousness is when we believe on the Lord completely and not rely on our own strength. God will account that as righteousness and bless us. By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going (Hebrews 11:8). Even today, we show our faith by obeying the Lord. We do just as the Lord says whether we like it or not. When we do that, we too please God.

Once, a dear brother shared the goodness of God saying, “The Lord blessed us with a boy baby. Within a few hours of birth, he developed trouble in breathing. We had to shift him to another hospital. The doctors said, ‘Your child does not have small intestine. So, he will not survive.’ At that critical juncture, we got in touch with the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower requesting Bro. Paul Dhinakaran to pray for our child. On the date of his surgery, we visited the Jesus Calls Prayer Tower, Chennai. Bro. Paul Dhinakaran heard about us and called us over the phone. He encouraged us and prayed for us with much burden. We returned with great hope. When the doctors cut open our baby’s stomach to operate on him, they were amazed to see the small intestine there. It was a miracle indeed. Now he is enjoying good health. It was the Lord who heard our prayers and created a new organ for our son and thus removed our sorrow.”

Amazing and encouraging, isn’t it? Our God is a prayer answering God. He never despises your prayer. He will create new organs, a new job, new family and a child for you, today. Simply call upon His name. You will see mighty miracles. The days of sorrow will end and blessed days will begin. Enter this day believing that new things will happen. All that we need to do is put our faith on the Lord for that is the only way to please God. Bible says, “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him” (Hebrews 11:6). Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see (Hebrews 11:1). May be you don’t see a way out of your problem. May be it is standing tall as a mountain that is immovable. But I encourage you today that God will surely move mountains for you.

Loving Father,

I come to Your throne of grace to receive help and provision. You know my name. You have called me by my name. I believe You have the best solution for my problem. I believe that You will do a miracle for me just as you did for Abraham and honour me at the right time. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
