God’s loving kindness! – Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran

“Hear me, O Lord, for Your loving kindness is good; Turn to me according to the multitude of Your tender mercies.” (Psalm 69:16)
God’s loving kindness is not dependant on our nature but on His nature. He is loving and kind and so He shows His loving kindness to us who need it. He know that we are helpless without Him. SO He showers His mercies and kindness upon us. The Lord says to you even today, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness” (Jeremiah 31:3). What else do you need? His love that He promises is everlasting. You need not worry about how well you perform. It is not based on your performance but is based on the performance of Jesus who hung on the cross bearing the sins of the world and becoming sin so that we can become God’s righteousness. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21). So God’s love is based on what Jesus has done for you and not what you do so you can always trust God’s unfailing love.

I would like to share the testimony of a dear sister with you: “My name is Geetha Baburaj. After my marriage, when my daughter was born, our family life turned into turmoil when my husband left me and went away. I had written the entrance test for a teacher’s job but there were many hurdles for me in acquiring the job. With my husband gone, and with no job for me, I was in great distress. I continually went to the Jesus calls Prayer Tower at Madurai and prayed that the Lord should rebuild my life and that I should get the teacher’s job. I participated in the meetings that were held there. The Lord heard my prayer and not only gave me success in my exam for a Government teacher’s post but removed all the hurdles that were hindering me in getting a job and blessed me. He solved all the differences of opinion between me and my husband and we started to live together again. Then the Lord blessed my womb and has now given me a boy baby. I thank God for hearing the sincere prayers of the ‘Jesus Calls’ prayer intercessors who prayed for me.” See how God turned the life of this dear sister. God would do the same for you too!

All you need to have is a love for the Lord who loves you. “But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior” (Titus 3:4-6). So you can expect and hope on God to show His loving kindness toward you and to change your circumstances and bless you in every aspect. He will do wonders for you. You only need to believe and depend on His unchanging love.

Dear Loving Father,

Thank You for sending Your Son and for making Him sin so that I can become Your righteousness. Thank You for promising me Your loving kindness and everlasting love. According to Your love change my life. Deliver me from all my pain. Let me taste Your goodness and love following me all the days of my life. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
