The God Who Sees You! – Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran
“….You are the God who sees me.” (Genesis 16 :13)
Have you wondered how wonderfully God arranges every circumstance in your life? It is because we have a God who sees us. Even now God says to you that He is going to open His eyes and look upon all your desires to fulfil them. His eyes are wide open and always fixed on you to see all your heartaches and to see your prayers being answered. We have a God who listens to our prayers. In Psalm 65:2, King David says “You who answer prayer, to you all people will come.” Yes, God will look into our hearts and grant all our desires. Whatever may happen, His eyes are always upon us. When Hagar cried out saying, “Lord where can I go? I am running away from my mistress.” The Lord spoke to her calling her by her name saying, “Hagar where are you going and where have you come from? Go back and submit yourself to Sarah. I will make your name great and your descendants will be numerous and I will bring your son up high and you will name your son Ishmael”.
The Lord who visited Hagar will visit you today. You may be crying saying, “Lord I have nobody to help me.” But when you lift up your eyes only to the heavens, to the Maker of heaven and earth, where help will come from, the Lord will surely make hope fulfil and He will certainly lift you up. He looks into us. He cannot bear to see us cry. He cannot bear our agony. In John chapter 11, when Mary lost her dear brother Lazarus she went running to Jesus and knelt before God and said, “Lord if you had been here I would not have lost my brother.” When Mary wept Jesus could not bear her agony. Jesus also wept. He shed tears for his friend Lazarus. He also cried along with her. Tears rolled out from His eyes. Our Lord sees us in our agony. He came near to Mary and He raised Lazarus back to life shouting, “Lazarus come out”! Lazarus came back to life after four long days.
One day when a sister was watching one of Jesus Calls’ TV programme, she was full of agony because her husband was suffering with the terrible fever called Chicken Guinea. He had gone to coma stage and the doctors had said he cannot be saved. They had told her, “Please take your husband back to your house”. That sister had cried out to the Lord saying, “Lord where can I go? My husband is the only hope to me. He is the only earning member in my family. I have nobody to help me”. As she was watching a TV Programme I had been delivering the message and during the prayer time, the Holy Spirit prompted me to say this: I said, “Lord on those who are in the sickbed and in coma, let your hand come upon them and lift them up”. Exactly to her cry, exactly to her prayer, God sent the answers. The same God who raised Lazarus up raised her husband. He woke up and sat and became completely well. The Lord commanded her husband to rise up again. Will he not do that to you my friend?
Prayer:
Loving Father,
You are the God who sees me. I should not be an ordinary person. I submit my life to you and You know how to life me up. Lord I humble myself. Carry me in your mighty hands. Lift me Lord and lift me higher in life. Let me also see you like Hagar and let me be strengthened in my life.
I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
