Majesty of God’s limitless power – Sis. Stella Dhinakaran
“Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me? (Jeremiah 32:27)
Are you facing a situation that appears like an impossible one? A health issue? Problems in the family? An addiction that you are finding hard to break?. Our God created the Universe out of nothing (Genesis chapter 1), divided the red sea (Exodus 14:21), fed 5,000 people with few loaves and fish (Matthew 14:21), raised Lazarus from dead (John 11:44) etc. Our God is able to do anything. Whatever trials you are facing, however weak you may be, look unto Jesus! He is all-powerful than the sickness you face, the sin that tempts you and makes you free.
Once, when I was sharing God’s message in the Women’s conference, a mentally ill sister who was miserable in life, was seated among the crowd. I was then comforting the gathered sisters with the words, “If you believe, you would see the glory of God”. Since she had the habit of running away from home, her husband used to lock her in, before leaving for his office. He had planned to admit her in the hospital for the mentally ill people, the following week. In the meantime, with great faith, she wanted to attend the meeting, though she never knew the venue. She managed to reach there with the help of a rickshaw man and as she was entering in, I was saying “Priscilla, if you believe you would see the glory of God.’ I used this name as an example. Her name too was Priscilla and so she took these words for herself and her faith increased. In that instant God showed her a wonder to make her see His glory. God’s power came upon her right then and she was healed completely. She went back home happily.
My dear beloved in Christ, Even today, this God of might is able to do wonders in our lives too (Psalm 77:14). He is also eager to do it. Your hope too shall not be cut off. Is there anything too hard for the Lord? Everything is possible for Him. He does wonders! Whatever may be your sufferings or sicknesses or losses or sorrows, look up to Him with faith (Hebrews 12:2). Hold on to Him, Jesus, who does wonders, will heed your prayers. He will show wonders in your life too.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father!
Thank You Lord for whatever the issues I am facing in my life. I know, nothing is too hard for you. Help me to trust in you always. Teach me to focus on You and Your power. Now, I bring to You all my difficulties in my life according to (1 Peter 5:7). Help me not to fear but to trust You. I confess my faith in Your strength for You will fight for me and win my battles as you said in (Exodus 14:14). You are mighty, powerful and righteous.
In Jesus name, I pray!
Amen.
