The Lord who cares! – Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran
“Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.” (Psalms 55:22)
Dearly beloved! The Lord is waiting to care for you and help you. Today He will send you help finding out what you need. In the days of the Bible, He met a man who was paralyzed for 38 years at the Bethesda pool. Knowing that the man had been sick for too long Jesus asked him if he is willing to become well. The man replied that he had no one to bring him to the pool when the water is stirred and that someone always got into the water before him. Jesus looked at him and said, “Take your mat and walk’. Immediately the man got healed and he went walking carrying his mat (John 5:1-7).
A sister from Bangalore wrote a letter to me. Her husband was working as a manager in a company. Due to financial crisis suddenly he had lost his job. While he was working they were living happily without any problem. But after he lost the job, they started suffering with debt. Every side they turned, people used to pester them asking them to return the money they had borrowed. They came to a state where they did not have money even to eat. When I read about her condition in the letter I prayed to the Lord to give her husband a job immediately as they were suffering much without money. The Lord did a miracle for them. In few days the sister conveyed to us with joy that her husband had got a good job.
Yes, even in crucial moments in your life, “cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken” Psalms 55:22. In this world, when you ask your mother and father for what you need, don’t they answer you and meet your needs? Much more than them will the Heavenly Father meet the needs of His children! Surely He will not allow you to be shaken and He will supply all your needs. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Ask believing that you will receive and God will surely answer you.
Prayer:
Loving Father,
My heart is burdened looking at my situation today. Cares about my family and future are crushing me. Because You care for me I lay all my burdens at your feet. Go before me and make all the crooked paths straight. Remove the Spirit of fear and fill me with Your peace. I believe You will never leave me. May Your Presence guide me always.
In Jesus name I pray,
Amen!
