Supernatural Provision – Samuel Dhinakaran
“He satisfies your desires with good things” (Psalm 103:5)
Fear grips a person by looking at today’s happenings around the world. People turn around to find none to comfort them in their distress. Is there no hope to live? Has your day-to-day life been affected to the core? Do you feel forsaken and sinking in problems? God is the God of mercy. Instead of worrying, pray about your needs to Jesus. Reflect on all the good things and give thanks to the Almighty God. Then, you will be astonished to see the grand wonders He does in your life! For thus says the Lord: ‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink’ (2 Kings 3:17). Yes, God will feed you in a miraculous way. Do not worry.
In the Bible, we read about a supernatural provision of money. When Jesus and His disciples had come to Capernaum, those who received the temple tax came to Peter and said, “Does your Teacher not pay the temple tax?” He said, “Yes.” And when he had come into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth take customs or taxes, from their sons or from strangers?” Peter said to Him, “From strangers.” Jesus said to him, “Then the sons are free. Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you” (Matthew 17:24-27).
Did you see that the blessing followed Peter’s obedience to Jesus’ words? Beloved, may be today you do not have what you need. But, you have a good God who meets all your needs. Heed to His counsel and obey what He says. He is able to fill your every lack. He has already prepared the blessing for you. Position yourself to possess your blessing by obeying to His voice. He has promised: “He satisfies your desires with good things” (Psalm 103:5). He will meet all your needs and wipe away your tears. He who has engraved you in His palms will not allow you to dwell in suffering all the time. Look at the delivering God and place your hope on Him. He will honor you. You will be blessed among all the nations on the earth.
Prayer:
Dear loving Lord,
You know today’s circumstance. Nothing can happen without Your permission. As I am Your child, bless me. Lord, position me by all means to receive the supernatural provision from your hands. Give me an attentive heart that hears Your voice. Remove my fears about the future. Cleanse me with Your precious blood. Transform me and give me a new life. Make me a blessing to my family and nation.
In Jesus name I pray, amen.
